NTT DATA Services currently seeks a [[Accounting Supervisor]] to join our team in [[Arraijan]], [[Panama Pacifico]], [[Panama]].
Accounting Supervisor ( Level 8)
Job Requirements:
Performs GL month-end close tasks, journal entries, margin and expense analysis of assigned service centers
Prepares monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, and clears reconciling items in a timely manner
Ensures that appropriate controls and compliance processes are followed
Makes recommendations for process improvements and automation opportunities
Assists in the timely preparation of schedules and other information required by external auditors
Contributes to any special projects and performs additional duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
Education – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is required
CPA is a plus but not required
Accounting Experience – Minimum of 5 years is required in GL accounting preferably in service industry, some public accounting is a plus
General knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), balance sheet and income statement methods, internal controls, and other areas related to financial reporting requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience in SAP or other large ERP systems is a plus
Skills:
Energetic, quick-learner who is driven to produce a high quality product
Ability to analyze, research and solve problems
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, with many points of contact and all levels of the organization
Skilled in organization, prioritization, time-management and attention to detail
