What´s the Role
The AP Analyst role is a critical role that will be focused on the day to day back-office service of the accounting and financial functional teams located in the Panama Operations Center. Co-Responsible for training and developing the accounting staff. Become a superuser for the new global LLA ERP system and assist with the implementation of the new system and development of efficient accounting processes. Works closely and will partner with all levels of the business to deliver high-quality accounting and reporting service and analysis to business units.
What you´ll do: Comply with LLA Policies and Values. Responsible to contribute in achieving the metrics defined in the LLA SLA. Ensure proper controls over AP / EXPENSES Activities. Responsible to monitor the effectiveness of controls included in the processes under their review (including Sox controls), Responsible for preparation/review of the Key Performance Metrics (KPI´s), Responsible to keep up to date the SLA (Service Level Agreement), closing checklist and control lists, Active participation in projects and transitions, where they are identified as a key expert or key team member, Develop and measure metrics to control the project. Internal and external report.
Who you are: Bachelor's degree in administration, Finance, or Accounting. College graduate or close to graduation as Certified Public Accountant or Business Administration Bachelor (preferable) Two years of previous experience in SAP & Audit background. Advanced Level of English Systems analysis and accounting theory and practice Advanced written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with multiple levels of management
