Effectively manage the activities relating to the management and payment of Grainger US accounts payable liability. Manage the Accounts Payable system and manual processes used by the AP Department to promote data accuracy, productivity, first pass yield, and cycle time goals. Ensure that existing procedures support the operational needs, maximize efficiency and productivity, and also comply with Company policy, IRS and legal guidelines
Responsible for establishing service level agreements, standards and metrics to ensure we deliver the right business results.
Ensure procedures and controls necessary to safeguard and produce accurate and timely disbursements are in place and followed.
Ensure that department procedures support the operational needs, maximize efficiency, and maintain productivity, first pass yield and cycle time goals while also complying with Company policy and IRS and legal guidelines.
Collaborate with other departments in GUS to develop and implement new or revised procedures and policy which improves the entire purchase to payment process.
Recommend the development and participate in the implementation of technological and procedural enhancements which increase productivity, data accuracy, and allow for continued support of a growing organization without significant headcount increases.
Participate in the development, recommendation and implementation of policy changes relating to disbursements.
Participate in the requirements definition, testing, training, and implementation of Accounts Payable reporting, system upgrades, and future system development projects including continuous improvement.
Administer the cost recovery, freight, utility, and other audit programs relating to the disbursement process to ensure ethical practices are maintained and maximum benefits are achieved.
Participate in the accrual process, physical inventory, internal audits, tax and IRS audits, and the annual audit by the external auditors. Ensure required supporting documentation for financial records is available for all audits.

Requisitos
5-7 years of experience in related field
Strong customer service orientation.
Must possess a working knowledge of Accounts Payable and related accounting procedures.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
English and Spanish proficiency required; French proficiency a plus.
Knowledge of SAP.
Strong MS Office proficiency.
Prior experience in establishing or managing a shared service, and offshore organization.
Must have the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and internal and external partners.
Must possess strong communication, organization, leadership, problem solving, and analytical and process improvement skills.
