Overview: Quest is seeking an ASP.Net full stack web developer to join the IS team to support business critical web applications that are essential to Quest operations. This is a great opportunity to join a talented team and modernize existing web forms application.
Responsibilities:
Develop web features on our internal portal using ASP.Net Web forms (C#), 3rd party user controls, AJAX/JSON/JQuery, Kendo UI and CSS
Work closely with stakeholders in Legal, R&D/Engineering and other roles within the SDLC (e.g. project management, business analyst and QA)
Maintain applications and processes within the team’s application portfolio
Thoroughly test your code and deliverables before passing to QA; write unit tests as needed
Work within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Document code and technical designs
Adhere to corporate style and design guidelines
Adhere to department development guidelines and procedures
Provide regular updates on status of projects, enhancements, and bugs/incidents
Provide quality support to all levels of the business within the organization
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience developing ASP.Net web forms with C#
Experience with web forms required
7+ years of experience developing cross-browser compliant high-volume/traffic websites (HTML, CSS and JavaScript, JQuery)
3+ years of hands-on experience with 3rd party user controls, AJAX/JSON/JQuery
5+ years of experience with database design and developing SQL stored procedures, queries and functions
Hands-on experience developing web applications that interface with other back-office systems (e.g. – web services, APIs, and direct DB calls)
Solid knowledge of web infrastructure principles; IIS, Networking, SSL Certificates, DNS, Load Balancers etc.
Experience with Entity Framework
Requires excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skill
Experience with source control systems (Git, svn, TFS, ec.)
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus) strongly preferred
