Associate PTP – LATAM
Location: Panama Reports to: Sr Professional PTP-LATAM
Summary
Part of regional team for PTP booking invoices correctly ensuring accounting records by business process and anticipate correct payments to our suppliers
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Record invoices for different countries with the tax localization
Booking in different currencies
Handle different kind of invoices for Services contracts, product etc
Control and analysis for expenses by business unit
Control for Sport marketing agreements and amortizations
Control of prepaid and accruals
Expenses report control
Experience in 3 way match
Knowledge for purchase order portal control and authorization matrix
Strong knowledge in internal control environment for procurement to pay area
Ensure the correct aging for suppliers
Review expenses accruals
Review and follow for payments on time and suppliers reconciliation
Concur administration for Latam
Handle scorecards and key metrics for PTP operation
Very valuable experience in LATAM
Review the correct application for cost center and profit center in the GL
Ensuring follow local procedures and processes on the basis of Global/Regional policies
Responsible to upload clean reconciliations on a monthly bases to Reporting into Black line tool reconciliation
Support and oversee annual audits
Technical Attributes of Ideal Candidate: include but are not limited to the following:
Accounting degree
3-4 years’ experience, in general ledger or account payable
Familiarity with corporate financial accounting systems (SAP preferred)
Excellent computer skills on excel
Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
Fluent in English
