To supervise, direct and ensure the billing team is providing effective billing support. The Billing Department supports and assists in the billing processes by setting up customers on Summary Billing, Web Billing, and email invoicing. The Billing Department also monitors the paper invoicing process to ensure customers are being billed promptly.
Supervise directly a staff of 7-10 NEX employees. Provide training required to promote growth, development, and advancement of billing personnel.
Attract, select, promote and motivate capable team members. Provide continuous feedback through effective communication and utilizing such tools as performance reviews and action planning.
Participate with business partners to achieve service goals.
Promote quality initiatives and continuous improvement through involvement in a project within FSS.
Lead continuous improvement activities within the team to promote efficiency increased productivity, and cost savings.
Make presentations to internal and external partners on the service capabilities of the Billing Department to build awareness of the various billing processes.
Identify and resolve billing issues that may contribute to customer problems or nonpayment issues.
Assist with analyzing customer billing requirements that may impact our relationship with our customers and communicate back to the appropriate Credit personnel for assistance if required.
Monitor goals and measurements for the Billing Department to maximize productivity and minimize impact to the customer.
Partner with other Grainger departments to provide billing support.
Additional duties may be assigned to help support Department/Company goals.

Requisitos
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the Principal Duties and Responsibilities satisfactorily. In this section, list the background minimal requirements, skills, and abilities one needs to perform the job.
A minimum of 3 years of supervisory/management experience.
Degree in Business or equivalent work-related experience.
Fluency in reading and speaking in English is a requirement.
The ability to work effectively with all levels of management, internal and external customers.
Demonstrated competence using MS Office tools and the ability to learn advanced computer skills
Must possess strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and internal and external business partners
Strong organizational skills to balance delegate and prioritize multiple deliverables and workload
Ability to select, recognize potential and develop subordinates to maximize potential and sustained peak job performance
Must possess good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
SAP experience preferred.
The ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high growth environment and rapidly changing organization.
