Wartsila is looking for a BCC Controller in the BCC AMER Department.
Responsibilities
The main task of BCC Controller is to support the Services organisation with operational controlling activities utilising Wärtsilä Services processes and tools. The BCC Controller actively monitors the data quality related to their respective revenue streams utilising Wärtsilä tools. As a BCC Controller you can be responsible for one or more of the following revenue streams: Field Services: support operational controlling of the Field Services organization to achieve FS KPI’s, i.e. WIP monitoring, margin analysis, training on FS procedures, order book quality, month end close process, accruals, other. Parts & Production: support operational controlling of the Parts organization, i.e. order book monitoring, margin analysis, inventory reporting & monitoring, month end close process, accruals, other. Contract Management: support operational controlling of the Contract Management organization, i.e. month end close process, cost accruals, actual results reporting, accounts receivables follow up, other. Project Management: support operational controlling of the Contract Management organization, i.e. month end close process, cost accruals, actual results reporting, account receivables follow up, other. Department Cost & Investments: support operational controlling of Department Cost & Investments activities, i.e. department cost monitoring and analysis, investment follow up and monitoring, cost accruals, creation of investment proposals in SAP, other. The BCC Controller provides pre-defined reporting to stakeholders (management teams and departments). The Controller takes an active role, supporting stakeholders by proactively identifying and communicating risks, pushing for solutions to open matters. Depending on the revenue stream, there are weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual routines that are included in the BCC Scope of the respective revenue streams. The scope is a framework for the minimum tasks required, but not limited to only the tasks mentioned in the scope documentation.
Requirements
Basic understanding of main profit earning principles in Service business.
Good financial knowledge.
Good reporting and analysis skills.
Understanding of Services processes (i.e. Field Services, Parts, Contracts and Project Management,
Etc.)
Good communication and team working skills.
Ability to see and explain complex issues in a simple way.
SAP FICO module, SAP Runbook, Cognos, QlikView, InfoPath Budget Tools.
English skills: Advanced.
Excel: Advanced level.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Industrial Engineer or Economic.
Three - five years or labour experience in same position or as Senior Financial Analyst or as Financial Planning Analyst.
