Job Title Cash Accountant, North America Job Description In this role, you have the opportunity toJoin our centralized cash reconciliations support team, supporting the general ledger reconciliation procedures and processes, and the accounting activities that relate. This position supports our existing team of Collectors who are responsible for cash collections of invoices for corresponding customer accounts. The reconciliation activities will contribute to maintaining excellent relationships with our customers, internal finance leadership, and cross-functional business partners.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Daily reconciliation of the prepayment cash general ledger and the unidentified cash accounts.
Carry out the unclaimed property process for the prepayment and unidentified general ledger accounts.
Coordinating with representatives to ensure our keying instructions on the various transactions involved in the cash general ledgers are streamlined – working directly to resolve issues as they arise.
Creating and maintaining a clear process map of the cash general ledger procedures.
Act as a liaison between our collections and cash applications teams related to prepayments and unidentified payments.
Providing indirect leadership to cash applications, internal finance leadership and cross-functional business partners related to cash management best practices.
Supporting and develop accounts receivable accounting lean process improvements.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
+ 2 years of experience in Accounting or Financial related field
Excel – Advanced
English - Advanced
SAP is mandatory
Experience with large transaction volume, preferred
Ability to work Independently and proactively
