Overview
The Continuous Improvement Specialist will play a pivotal role in helping to drive operational efficiencyinitiatives across the Company.
The Continuous Improvement Specialist integrates and drives development, and implementation of:
Various business critical continuous improvement projects
Performance data management and dashboards
Responsibilities
Partners with Retrieval Method teams to determine business needs and translates them into process requirements and controls, process flows, quality standards and design documentation, and develops data management systems to provide feedback, metrics, and visibility.
Develops continuous improvement project plans and leads the execution of the projects through various stages implementing project management and lean tools.
Builds business acumen and operation knowledge.
Complete 6 sigma certification in 12 months of starting the role.
Analyzes, specifies, designs and develops Operations processes with regards to quality and retrieval activities.
Defines clear metrics to measure the quality and delivery performance at regional level.
Problem Solving Process (5 Why’s, Six Sigma, Fault Trees, Process Mapping, etc).
Implements operational production systems process across the business.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required.
Strong analytical skills needed to prepare and analyze data to drive KPIs and process improvements.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher MS Project
Must have excellent skills in: communication, organization and project management.
Demonstrated process mapping skills
Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language.
Must be able to travel a minimum of 15% of the time (more travel may be required at times).
Must have valid driver’s license.
