Role Overview The Global Customer Program (GCP) Project Manager Senior Analyst acts as a single point of contact between Dell and our Global Customers; You will be part of the Global Business Services organization and you will be responsible for enabling Dell customers to do business around the world. If you are a self-driven individual, looking for learn about Dell business operations and have the ability and skills to develop and lead global projects, while expanding your business knowledge and your understanding of Dell Global capabilities, then the GCP organization is the place for you.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to lead and build networks; This role requires interaction at all organizational levels and the ability to resolve unique situations that arise due to the different requirements of global customers. You will be responsible for aligning your projects to business goals, managing stakeholders, communicating project status/milestones, and solving unexpected difficulties or roadblocks for your projects.
Responsibilities
As a GCP Project Manager your main responsibility will be supporting the Global Programs Mailbox. You will reply to GCP customer inquiries while assuring our service levels are met. You will provide all the necessary support for their global activities by leveraging a network of Dell experts. Additionally, you will provide support to GCP Senior Programs Managers with their administrative activities for larger customer projects, for example; tag transfers, global customer quality management reports, order follow up, data entry, data collection and more depending on our customer needs and your available bandwidth.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have to demonstrate all of the following skills during the interview process.Advanced communication skills.Strong organizing, priority setting and planning skills.Ability to network and build business relationships.Strong research and problem solving skills.Working knowledge of computer components.Ability to work with little to none supervision.
Preferences (Expertise in one or more of these areas)Education related to Project management, International Business or Information Technology.Previous leadership experience.Experience working with other cultures.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Speak more than 2 languages.
