Data Privacy Specialist Brand: Estée Lauder Companies Description The Data Privacy Specialist supports the Global Privacy Office and will report to the Chief Privacy Officer and the Vice President, Legal Shared Services.
The Privacy Specialist will coordinate responses to data subject requests and inquiries, and will otherwise support the day-to-day operations of the Global Privacy Office.
Provide support to the Global Privacy Office, including:
Act as the first point of contact globally for data subject requests
Ensure data subject requests are addressed in a timely manner in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies
Review and redact (as required) documentation in response to data subject requests
Triage and monitor the privacy request queue and assign tasks to relevant internal stakeholders
Assist in continuous improvement and implementation of policies, procedures, playbooks and workflows related to data subject requests
Serve as liaison between Global Privacy Office and internal business stakeholders for the completion of data subject requests
Demonstrate flexibility as the volume of data subject requests changes
Otherwise support the Global Privacy Office with activities related to the Company’s privacy compliance program by:
o Organizing and managing documentation related to vendors that process personal information
o Assisting with the completion of privacy assessments and mapping exercises
o Supporting the implementation of privacy technology tools
o Updating data processing records
o Handle ad-hoc projects which support the Chief Privacy Officer and other Global Privacy Office members
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Required Language Proficiency: English
Licenses or Certifications: IAPP certification an asset but not required
Additional Job Specifications (e.g., physical demands, working conditions, equipment/machinery, specific skills, etc.):
Position based in Panama City.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal, compliance or similar role, preferably at a law firm and/or multinational company
Experience working in a shared services team or environment
IAPP certification an asset but not required
Knowledge of global privacy principles
Exceptional organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage expectations effectively to complete multiple tasks/projects quickly, efficiently and on time
Ability to provide support in a fast-paced work environment
Highly motivated, self-driven and enthusiastic
Advanced technological skills and ability to learn and teach others new technologies quickly and independently
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Skype, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint
Exemplary client service orientation and professional demeanor
Flexibility, agility, and responsiveness with ability to pivot as priorities shift
Commitment to delivering high quality work with keen attention to detail
