Overview:
Person in charge of ensure conditions of work adapted to avoid the occurrence of any accidents and incidents, to give fulfillment to the safety procedures in order to guarantee the physical integrity of the employees. the Zero Tolerance principle that is established inside the Zero Devaitions Plan of Alstom.
Specific responsibilities of the role:
:Guides over the fulfillment of the policies and procedure established in the EHS ALSTOM department.
:Organize and conduct the EHS training programs based in the Alstom rules.
:To participate in the inspection process of different working places during the construction phase, and to participate in the GPI and SOV tours.
:To ensure of the implementatión of all EHS controls in the installation process coordinated with the EHS of the subcontractor team during the project.
:Enssure the participation in the analysis of the root cause of high potential accidents and incidents, in order to propose preventive and/or corrective measures.
:Contribution to PE specification and standards and follow up with the different suppliers used by Alstom to obtain high quality and efficiency in the project.
:To carry out evaluations and guide to all Alstom employees and subcontractors to identify risky points in order to improve methods of control.
:Identify the different EHS requirements to be used by all Alstom employes and subcontractors personeel.
:To manage the environment procedures to guarantee the fulfillment of the law.
:Lead the EHS warehouse inspections.
:Lead EHS audits in the different work stations.
:Lead trainning based in REX of different situations both inicident and accidents that had happened in other projects.
:To participate in the evaluation of the different subcontractors before start operations.
:Issue periodically documentation related to all inspections to inform our client the progress.
:Issue the security guides to the people in construction site.
:Participate and desing the evacuation drills.
