Our Consumer Health Care Products segment includes a broad range of products used in the baby care, skin care, oral care, wound care and women’s health care fields, as well as nutritional and over-the-counter pharmaceutical products, and wellness and prevention platforms.Our Finance Compliance Supervisor will lead Finance Risk Management and Controls, ensuring strong control environment foundation. This position will be based in Panama to support Mexico, Central America, Caribbean Colombia & Venezuela.Key Responsibilities:Policies & Procedures - Stablish and maintain policies and procedures for financial controls aligned with J&Js compliance standards. Ensure the content is accurate and aligned with controls designed.
Perform control walk through, operational testing and discuss the findings with the process owners.Corrective Action Plan – design and implementation of action plans linked with SOX Review, Internal Control Review, Due Diligence, External Audit or Special Assessments.Focal point for Internal & External Audits: Prepare organization for audits. Map risks, assess improvements and actionable plans. Host audit teams.Assist in the interpretation of compliance requirements
Ensure the necessary orientation and training to local teams in order to be always in compliance with SOX and with J&J policies.Oversee closing process working in conjunction with Global Services (GS), Business Unit Finance (BUF) and COE, assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processesEnsure quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingWork with FP&A on reporting variance analysis on Financial Statements and Cash FlowSupport month-end and year-end close process

A Mayor in Accounting or Finance
A minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in Accounting is required. Finance compliance experience is preferred
Experience with financial modelling and Financial Statements analysis (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) is required.
Experience in team management is required
SAP or TM1 preferred, Microsoft Office required and Tableau Solutions desired.
Proficient in English is mandatory (at least 85-90%)
Strong communications skills required in Spanish and English (presentations, listening, written skills)
