Panamá, Provincia de PanamáPanamá, Provincia de PanamáPanamáThe Financial Analyst reports to the Business Controller and is responsible for the consolidation and preparation of forecast, budget and monthly result reports for Colombia, Panamá, Venezuela and Mexico.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Consolidation and preparation of information for the purposes of monthly, quarterly, semester and annul reporting to the parent organization for Colombia, Panamá, Venezuela and Mexico · Preparing reports for the company (MISAL Reports) · Preparing forecast reports in collaboration with all managers for submission to headquarters for all countries · Maintenance of DW system to report each month · Carrying out various financial administration duties · Performing other duties related to Business support department · Management of Fixed Assets based on company guidance · Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports. Prepare full P/L reconciliation on a monthly basis, comparing actual results to forecast · Analyze deviations to budget/forecast and issue analysis and recommendations. · Monthly presentation of results for Management Team · Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses · Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions. · Collect, compile, verify and analyze the financial figures and make financial and accounting reports for the decision makers. Profile: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, International Business or similar. Technical knowledge: · Knowledge of IFRS and IAS. · Good understanding of financial data. · Ability to perform a volume of numerical work with speed and accuracy. · Ability to prepare financial and other records in a systematic, neat and legible manner. · Analytically minded with advanced system skills · Experience with ERP system, experience with iScala is advantage · Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel · Intermediate/Advanced English language proficiency Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in areas related to financial management and/or financial analysis. Competencies: Analytical skills. Capable to work in a hands on environment, team player, resilience, work in a high pressure environment, dynamic and capable of adapting to different situations. Customer Service oriented, capable of working independently, goal oriented, self motivated, flexible. Strong integrity and sense of responsibility.
