position of strength, The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC), the leader in prestige
beauty products, embarked on the Leading Beauty Forward program, chartered to
fuel product innovation and enhance market agility. A key element of this strategy was the design
of a new way to support its suite of 30 brands globally. The company chose Panama as being best suited
to establish its new Global Business Services (GBS) operation center. This new center will initially deliver
Finance, Human Resources and Legal services to ELC employees across several
geographies and time zones. Through a
new innovative service minded approach, this center will redefine service
standards globally at ELC. This new GBS
team will provide a one-stop-shop solution for the ELC businesses, supported by
new customer engagement insights, new systems, and new reporting. In addition to delivering exceptional service
to the ELC businesses each day, the GBS team will also be responsible for
continuously streamlining work in pursuit of growing its service offering in
support of achieving ELC’s strategic and business objectives. New site, new team, new opportunity.
Position Overview:
This
role will provide various Controls & Compliance services to the ELC Global
Finance community, working closely with key stakeholders to understand their
needs and execute accordingly. These
areas include but are not limited to the Sarbanes-Oxley program, Controls
Implementations/Assessments, Continuous Control Monitoring, and Controls Issue
Management. This role will also require oversight of Controls & Compliance
Analyst level positions to ensure timely, proper execution of services.
Overview of responsibilities:
Controls Delivery – 60%
Perform
tasks and/or oversight of Analysts for key service tasks, tracking, follow-up,
and developing deliverables for the following areas, including but not limited
to:
SOX302 Consolidation & Reporting
SOX404 Administration & Reporting
FinancialStatement Risk Assessment Analysis
ThirdParty Risk Management & Reporting (SOC-1/SSAE 18 requirements)
ControlsSelf-Assessment Administration
ControlIssues Administration & Reporting
GlobalPolicy Facilitation & Publication
Controls& Compliance Calendar Administration & Status Reporting
IT Compliance Delivery – 30%
Perform tasks and/or
oversight of Analysts for key service tasks, tracking, follow-up, and
developing deliverables for the following areas, including but not limited to:
PaymentCard Industry (PCI) Security Standards
GeneralData Protection Regulations (GDPR)
Food& Drug Administration (FDA) Audits
Tableau Dashboarding – 10%
Develop,
maintain, and update Controls & Compliance Tableau Dashboards
Ensureexisting Tableau dashboards are reporting accurately from SAP GRC tool (incollaboration with GRC Administrator role)
Developnew visualization dashboards / enhance existing Tableau dashboards based onservice delivery needs as identified by internal customer groups.
Provideperiodic reporting updates / snapshots from Tableau dashboards to drive statusupdate discussions and/or provide insights based on tool outputs.

Additional Requirements
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/Administration preferred
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 - 5 years
Proficient English (native or near-native)
