Main Purpose of Job: (As would be described in job advert)
The Global Business Intelligence Analyst will work directly work with internal clients like Sales, Finance, Operations teams to gather reporting and data requirements and offer insights to provide adequate visibility into business performance and actionable intel regarding historical and future trends via reports. The Business Analyst will also drive the technical stack for reporting and analytics, balancing business needs, latest technology, and ease of use.
Required Education Level:
BCom or BSc degree in related field preferred. Equivalent qualifications or work experience considered.
Required Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a functional consultant or business analysis role:
Proven experience in all aspects of Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Planning, Development, Specification and Management required.
Proven experience in a variety of documentation and modeling tools required.
Proven experience working on projects across multiple business functions required.
Proven experience managing stakeholders at various levels required.
Proven experience with Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid delivery approaches required.
Proven experience in data analysis / and or data sciences
Experience in oil and gas industry preferred.
Experience with both functional and multi-disciplinary teams preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV advantageous.
Experience in SFDC and integrated solution delivery would be advantageous.
Specific Knowledge Required:
(Systems, Processes, etc.)
Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools like QlikView, Power BI or Tableau.
Knowledge of Data warehouses and data warehouses architectures
Knowledge of statistical packages like SAS preferred.
Knowledge of statistics preferred.
Specific Skills Required:

Project Management skills.
Business Analysis skills

Language: English and Spanish
Ability to work autonomously and take initiatives
Willingness to work long hours when required is critical
Desire and ability to achieve results under difficult circumstances and tough deadlines

Key Responsibilities:
Works closely with Business Units to understand business environment, stakeholders, processes, rules, business requirements, problems, opportunities, IT solution usage and solution requirements.
Articulates all of the above for both business and IT using whatever means appropriate and in line with internal Business Analysis and Delivery standards.
Works with Global Leads to understand Global policies and procedures, and align Regional business and IT units with these from a Business Analysis and Solution Delivery perspective.
Works directly with Core Solution Delivery team to facilitate delivery from a Business Analysis perspective.
Works with IT Leads to develop and work towards strategic IT goals relevant to Business Analysis.
Works with Business Unit Leads to understand strategic business goals.
Works with IT and Business Leads to align Business Analysis and Strategic Business and IT Goals.
Compiles Business and Solution Requirement Specifications for relevant Business Units and IT Solutions, aligning to internal Business Analysis and Delivery standards.
Assists Business and IT stakeholders with compilation of Requirement Specifications and other Solution Delivery outputs relevant to Business Analysis as required.
Compiles, and assists with compilation of, any other documentation or models required to adequately convey environment, stakeholders, processes, rules, business requirements, problems, opportunities, policies, procedures, goals and objectives, IT solution usage and solution requirements.
Provides Global Business and IT Leads with full visibility of work in progress and outputs as required.
Provides Global Business and IT Leads with reports relating to Business Analysis activity as required.
Extracts knowledge and expertise from Business and IT stakeholders and contributes to creation and maintenance of knowledge repositories.
Works with Global Business Analysis Lead to align Business Analysis outputs with Global Models.
Conducts meetings, workshops and presentations as required to facilitate Business Analysis and overall Solution Delivery.
