Import / Export Senior Analyst

Global import-export in the world of ground-breaking technology is a complicated business. It takes real attention to detail to comply with all U.S. and regional import and export regulations. Our Import-Export team within Materials and Procurement provides trade compliance support for end-to-end order management and delivery processes. We’re experts in what we do, from assessing global trade risk and providing mitigation strategies, to delivering strategic and tactical support in developing international supply chains, to implementing strategies to reduce import expenses and auditing all documentation.
Helps drive continuous improvement projects in support of small to medium size Global project to enhance systems, processes, policies, etc. Works with project team to help implement these solutions
With direction, handles complex import/export activities for defined country or region. Works with freight forwarder/customers broker and provides paperwork and relevant information to partners/customers. May provide subject matter expertise on more complex deals involving specific region or country laws/regulations.
Under supervision and with guided direction, helps to communicate and train, on policies, customs regulations, processes and system changes with regards to field inventory and logistics management
Assists in compiling relevant reporting that facilitates execution or measures performance of business operations work.
Assists in analyzing and maintaining the companies Foreign trade data
Under limited direction, handles the export compliance, export licensing and order screening
Assists in customs compliance through auditing customs declarations issued by carriers on behalf of the company.
Essential Requirements

Typically requires 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience
