PURPOSE
Responsible for processing operational transactions for Intercompany Expenses. Responsibilities also include providing project accounting support and analysis, as well as reconciliation and adjustment of differences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Responsible for having a good understanding of Golden Processes, Finance Manual and General Accounting principles.
2.
Perform the day to day processing of financial
transactions to ensure that unit/account level finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
3.
Within area of expertise, applies problem solving and understanding of financial operations processes to coordinate transaction entry, verification and deliver resolution.
4.
Consistently strives to meet customer expectations and SLAs in addition to making
recommendations for streamlining processes by highlighting opportunities for improvements.
5. Responsible for working/operating within a controls environment.
Intercompany
:Provide timely and accurate processing of Account Payable and Account Receivable for Intercompany transactions (finish goods, samples, reimbursements and services/SLA).
:Input credit and debits to the accounting system in support of the Intercompany work
:Develop and maintain reports and files on the Intercompany processing
:Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
:Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
:Prepare payment proposal with corresponding supports for Netting Payments on required dates from Corporate
Daily Specific Tasks:
:Update tracking reports, and Intercompany Tool with received invoices from affiliates
:Process in SAP Journal Entries for accounts payable/account receivables for Affiliates.
