About the Role: The Key Account Manager is responsible for leading commercial strategies for industrial equipment, including water heaters, electric generators, and industrial & home fans.
This role focuses on strengthening distributor relationships to drive sell-in and sell-out growth while ensuring proper brand positioning in the market with retailers and distributors.
Additionally, the Key Account Manager will oversee trade marketing activities, manage budgets, and support distributors in inventory optimization.
Key Responsibilities: The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring optimal market positioning.
This includes: Sales Management: Developing and analyzing sales strategies, conducting line reviews, managing new and recurring orders, and tracking sales performance.
Market Research & Positioning: Analyzing market trends and defining action plans to achieve targeted market share.
Strategic Management: Preparing and executing area budgets, performing pricing analysis, and optimizing product mix by retailer.
Commercial Operations: Overseeing accounts receivable, implementing customer loyalty strategies, and ensuring after-sales support.
Logistics & Deliveries: Tracking order fulfillment and managing sample deliveries.
Marketing & Sales Execution: Supporting sales targets, analyzing inventory turnover, and driving activation plans.
Team Leadership: Conducting training programs, overseeing performance evaluations, and managing satisfaction surveys.
Deliverables: Sales performance reports, including sell-in and sell-out analysis.
Market share and competitive analysis reports.
Budget and pricing analysis reports.
Customer satisfaction and loyalty reports.
Inventory and order tracking reports.
Trade marketing activation reports.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, trade marketing, or commercial management roles.
Proven experience in international markets (LATAM, Central America, South America, or the Caribbean).
Experience managing B2C retail channels (not B2B).
Key Competencies: Advanced English proficiency.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Power BI & Microsoft Office.
