Our team manages projects or leads others managing projects — ensuring cross-functional teams work collaboratively and effectively. We oversee initial plans, set budgets, track project activities and communicate milestones to key stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
Liaise with key stakeholders to understand specific requirements to support Dell business and revenue goals.
Expand the Global Localization Team’s footprint by promoting its value proposition and benefits in the region, and network with key stakeholders.
Define linguistic guidelines, expectations, quality standards, and terminology for specific languages.
Contribute to the improvement of localization tools and processes.
Help accelerate time-to-market and impact of Dell’s products and assets by tracking and mitigating linguistic defects.
Oversee local Dell Deals with key stakeholders and review and sign off cycle large deals to support sales.
Occasionally manage localization project in response to urgent requests to support regional revenue.
Monitor LSPs performance, provide feedback on quality and final deliverables, and ensure the necessary procedures and processes are in place to drive continuous improvement.
Work in conjunction with Program Managers to identify risks, suggest adjustments to project plan and define the appropriate review strategy.
5+ years of professional working experience with localization quality management.
Read, write and speak both LatAM Spanish and English fluently
Time management skills, ability to multitask, highly organized.
Passion for translation quality and languages
Experience using localization and quality assurance tools
Hands-on translation experience in both web-content and marketing
Strong technical problem-solving experience
Ability to work independently with minimal directions
Experience troubleshooting workflows that include DQF, linguistic quality assurance reviews, terminology and machine translation post-editing tasks.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to analyze data and identify trends
Ability to engage in creative problem solving
Experience at building relationships and influencing
