Description
The M&A manager will be the key point of contact and go-to person within OneSource Finance when a M&A decision is part of the ELC strategy. Will be accountable for the lift and shift across a global, regional and local environments.
Responsibilities include:
Co-lead the Due Diligence processes along with the business project ELC teams for R2R, P2P and OTC processes.
Lift and shift of information on the M&A related company across the above F&A processes.
Accounting assessment on the company’s financials.
F&A assessment focused on OTC (Current situation, Aging, Credit terms, customer segmentation, DSO)
F&A assessment focused on PTP (Current situation, Aging, segmentation of suppliers, terms, overdues)
Bank accounts assessment and mapping
Vendor and Customer master file assessment
Manual ledger assessment
Manual journal entry assessment
Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and support appropriate process and/or improvements.
Manage and lead the Finance and accounting due diligence M&A different stages until a successful completion
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Lead the work transition from the new Company into OneSource Finance.
Develop the right KPIs, SLAs and governance for all our processes
Ensure the right processes are followed with operational discipline by developing workflows, Kaizens and root cause analysis.
Qualifications
Minimum Education level: Bachelor’s Degree or local equivalent
Required Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English, and Spanish
Minimum Years of Experience: 8
% Travel Time: 50%
Licenses or Certifications: CPA (preferable)
Position based at Panama OneSource site.
ERP knowledge (SAP preferable).
Accounting knowledge and understanding of Financial statements
Experience in driving Finance M&A due diligence in the related processes (P2P, R2R, OTC)
Experience driving and monitoring performance, including balanced metrics and reporting frameworks.
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple people effectively.
Data and SLA commitment driven supporting scalable solutions to support an ever-changing business environment in ELC’s due diligence processes.
Continuous improvement and service-oriented mindset
Strong project management, team management and client management skills.
Experienced professional with ability to anticipate team needs and maintain a professional demeanor.
Ability to communicate effectively, exercise good judgment in decision making, understand and synthesize complex issues, and support the execution of business strategy.
Strong technical skills (Finance, Accounting and technological tools).
Strong finance acumen and experience using SAP, or equivalent.

Strategic planning, decision making and problem-solving skills.

Great organizational skills.
Data Visualization & Data Analytics skills (preferable)
