Network Engineer

OVERVIEW:
The Network Engineer is responsible for the management, operation, maintenance, deployment, configuration and security of various networking technologies including Data Center LANs, office and campus LANs, Wireless LANs and multiple WAN technologies using all the standard equipment. Additionally, the Network Engineer is responsible for other networking technologies such as security devices, Firewalls, Proxies, Filters, Sniffers, SD-LAN/SD-WAN, SAN Fabrics, and converged networks. The Network Engineer works with other Data Center Engineers, Application and End User Support teams along with development teams, executives and project managers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· 2 to 5 years of experience as a Networking professional
· Experience with Cisco ACS, DMS, Nexus and UCS
· Experience with Cisco MDS
· Experience with Cisco Nexus
· Experience with f5 LTM
· Network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills
· Experience with IP networking fundamentals and experience in the application of IP protocols
· Experience with WAN technologies such as SD-WAN, MPLS, P2P and VPN
· Experience with network QoS - Traffic Shaping, Policing, Queuing
· Experience with Dynamic Routing protocols with experience administering these protocols in distributed networks
· Experience with scripting repetitive tasks
· Creation / Updating systems documentation and operations standards / procedures
· Identify and Reduce vulnerabilities by installing hardware and software updates or patches
· Run reports on system compliance
· Understanding of ITIL terminology and processes
· Must be able to work independently on multiple concurrent tasks in a highly dynamic environment with strong customer service skills, team skills, and the ability to collaborate within a cross functional team

BENNIFICIAL EXPERIENCE:
· Network security skills establishing and maintaining central authentication and port security, among other solutions
· Experience deploying, maintaining and securing multi-campus wireless solutions
· Experience with Azure and AWS networking technologies
