100% remote position located in the Republic of Panama. Candidates must be located in Panama

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

Payroll Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing payroll data and documents for inefficiencies and errors
  • Checking whether all amounts are accurate based on hours worked
  • Ensuring payments are made on time

Payroll Analyst handles those countries’ payroll that are assigned by the Payroll Director.

Ultimately, you’ll help us maintain an efficient payroll process that complies with all federal and state regulations.

Key Duties:

  • Preparing reports and forecasts
  • Ensuring compliance with all compensation and tax regulations
  • Reviewing timesheets and attendance records and correcting inaccuracies if necessary
  • Managing payment transactions via e-banking
  • Conducting regular audits on payroll procedures and records
  • Designing, documenting, and implementing procedures to streamline payroll processes
  • Managing payroll calendars for the fiscal year

Qualifications

What's Needed for the Role

  • BS in Economics, Accounting, or a relevant field and 1+ years relevant experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator, or similar role (e.g., in accounting), or two plus years of experience in Payroll in lieu of a degree
  • Experience of managing internal payroll processes
  • Experience of using HR databases and other IT systems
  • Deep knowledge of local payroll and tax regulations
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software
