Requirements
· Minimum 7 years of purchasing experience in an international environment,
· with a technical focus
· BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration Or
· Master Degree
· Proven working experience as a procurement manager, procurement officer or head of procurement
· Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “Reading the market
· Talent in negotiations and networking
· Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
· Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
· Experience in collecting and analyzing data
· Strong leadership capabilities
Proven Success in:
· Initiating and managing cost saving projects considering costs, value creation & risk management, ensuring projects are completed within the time frame.
· Results oriented with strong initiative for constant search for the best solutions to all corporate & operational requirements
· Ability to suggest alternatives & adapt the sourcing/purchasing models/solutions to suit changes in operational requirements
· Holistic contracts negotiation (beyondpure price comparison) and contracts management, ongoing supplier performance monitoring post award
· Strong negotiation skills
· Cost efficient & cost driven in thinking and management
· Able to apply an analytical & structured approach in problem solving and conflict resolution
· Good knowledge of legal and risk management
