Job description: Purpose of the Role To supervise and analyse all inventory of a warehouse area. Key Responsibilities Establishing initial inventory levels Forecasting usage through liaison with end users Optimising inventory levels through data analysis Supervising cycle counting and stock takes Maintain and Update Data Integrity Optimising Inventory Aging (Slow Movers, No movers, Obsolete) Any other work reasonably requested by the Inventory Controller Qualifications and Personal Characteristics Skills necessary to achieve minimum competency standards: Highly numerate and analytical Excellent Excel skills Prior experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards Minimum qualification required for this position: University degree in science, technology, engineering, or business subject Minimum experience required for this position: 2 years experience in product/demand planning a large maintenance or manufacturing organization Behavioral skills required for this position: Excellent communication skills Strong team player, with ability to work independently Working Conditions Cobre Panama is a remote site and the position is offered as Residential or BIBO.
