Drive and monitor various closing activities for reporting and controlling in line with the Standard Accounting Timetable and internal procedures (Reporting according IFRS, create accruals, general ledger entries, handling of fixed assets accounting for all the cluster North, Central & South America
Reconciliation and follow up of balance sheet accounts
Be proactive and anticipate delays and issues, close relationship with Panama & North, Central and South American markets along with group financial control in Switzerland
Continuous Improvement - Suggest and drive changes to business process and structures to achive high performance in terms of speed, cost & quality of financial management report
Who you are
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Controlling
Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in an internacional accounting department
Fluent English
SAP is an asset
Excel Skills in an asset

Main Purpose of the Job
Provide accurate information for financial reporting. works within established procedures and pratices with a limited degree of supervision
Key Responsibilities
1. Complete accurately standard financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles
2. Support senior accountants to prepare accurate and timely financial reports and accounting statements for senior management.
3. Support on process improvement and related KPIs implementation
4. Assist with special project as required
5. Support in reconcile a wide variety of financial data for the purpose of maintaining accurate accounte balances and ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory guidelines
Critical Experience
No or up to 2 years of experience in accounting
Minimum Education
High school and 2-3 years vocational training or equivalent
