Job Title S&OP Demand Planner Job Description In this role, you have the opportunity to
To balance supplies and demand of a Business/Category/BG of mass products for a certain Market to ensure that finished products are available in Regional Distribution Centers at the time the customer orders and that integral inventory levels are in line with business objectives.
You are responsible for
Manage the monthly medium/long term planning process and the weekly supply-demand planning process in the Region of all assigned product groups in order to prepare in-time for capacity creation/reduction and the procurement of long-lead-time components.
Manage the integral inventory levels for the assigned product groups over the supply chain in the assigned Region with objective to realize the availability targets.
Manage phasing in / phasing out of assigned product-types according to the actual PIP Process (Product Introduction Process) in close cooperation with product / marketing management and the industrial project team. The aim is to introduce new products in-time and phase-out products without obsolete finished products and components.
Tune demand and supply between several sales organizations and production units in such a way that the regional distribution centers are able to deliver in time.
Control integral availability and stock levels as agreed in the SLA.
Main contact for Sales organization regarding finished products deliveries.
May lead a small S&OP team.
Manage relationship with Sales organizations, regions, supplier, factory and businesses.
Ensure that availability performance and inventories are on the agreed levels.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor degree in Logistic, Business Administration or Industrial Engineer.
Experience in Multinationals companies within Business or Supply Chain environment.
Experience in Supply Chain Management or in a planning role either further upstream (supply centers, factories) or downstream (retail)
Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to influence.
Strategy & Planning skills.
Extensive knowledge in SAP, and Excel
