Responsible for training the staff, supervising and maintaining Chanel POS in optimal standards in the Cruises Channel, detecting onboard opportunities to develop and improve our business.
Training:
• Organize and implement training session for product knowledge for clients and retail sales staff aboard
• Follow the travel/visits calendar prepared with the management, according to the needs based on strategy, and set all trips 6 months ahead of time
• Prepare and coordinate visit schedules to cruises, both for the person in the role, as for the visitors from the head office
• Supervise and manage BA’s in terms of sales performance, product knowledge and proactivity at POS
Field Marketing:
• Organize and implement merchandising training sessions for clients and retail sales staff aboard
• Check merchandise collaterals for events or promotions
• In coordination with Architecture, MPOS and Trade Marketing, track visuals (transparencies) updated, confirming measurements and final installations
• Review prices on board and records on competition (price, launches, space and promotions)
• Check competition and recommend new ways at improving sell out and image in accordance with brand marketing policies and guidelines
• Prepare a photographic report pre and post visits, including videos of the Chanel spaces, beauty area and general retail area
Sales:
• In coordination with the Sales Executive and Area Sales Manager, implement promotional programs in order to develop and increase sales
• Run data analysis to track the success of promotional programs and propose improvements
• Prepare data analysis pre and post ships visit to track its effectiveness and for follow up
• Review operations processes between clients and the head office to propose new ways of working for efficiency and cost reduction
• Establish strong relationship with Store Managers in support of our objectives
• Ensure the assortment per vessel is properly implemented and monitor stock situation / level
• Check inventories at each door
• Review of the assortment and presentation of new products and launches
• Implement promotional and merchandising plan according to our departmental and company strategies
• Suggest ideas to increase relevance of launches: visibility, promotions, additional space in store, media opportunities, and identify trends
