Job Title Senior Cash Accountant Job Description In this role, you have the opportunity to
Support our existing team of Credit & Collections who are responsible for cash collections with a defined group of major/key customer accounts, at Philips Healthcare by maintaining excellent relationships with our customers, internal finance leadership, and cross-functional business partners.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Daily, retrieve bank activity (ACH, wire and credit card) and reconciliations.
Monthly, triangulate daily reconciliations against monthly bank statements
Coordinating with representatives to ensure our keying instructions are streamlined, and cost efficient – working directly to resolve issues as they arise
Creating and maintaining a clear map of our credit card activities
Partnering with our credit card providers and Treasury
Providing indirect leadership to cash applications, internal finance leadership and cross-functional business partners related to cash management best practices
Supporting and develop accounts receivable accounting lean process improvements
You are a part of a team
This role is part of the Finance Organization
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Experience in Accounting or Financial related field
Excel – Advanced
SAP or similar accounting applications experience preferred
Experience with large transaction volume, preferred
Ability to work Independently and proactively
