We are looking for too highly:skilled Tender Strategy Managers who will be responsible for the entire tender process within MSD Central America and the Caribbean.

The Tender Strategy Manager is a strong commercial position responsible for the entire tender process: from the moment a tender is published to the moment a tender is submitted for sign:off to the Commercial, Business Key Account Managers. The Tender Strategy Manager assures the availability and reliability of information and resource for this purpose. He/She decides on MSDs tender submission strategy and philosophy.

Furthermore, the Tender Strategy Manager has also the opportunity to help customers by sharing trends and requirements in public procurement. This means that he/she shapes the tendering environment in Central America and the Caribbean.
The Tender Strategy Manager will report to the Commercial and Business Support Director.

Responsibilities:

:Develops business/sales strategy and account plan for priority accounts that ensure the achievement of sales and profit target within set budget.
:Prepares and executes strategic meetings with important decision makers.
:Effectively manages the opportunity pipeline in order to reliably predict revenue.
:Keeps Management and Marketing informed of development of opportunities and accounts including market trends and competitor issues.
: Identifies customer needs and effectively demonstrates the values both economic and human.
:Demonstrates cost effectiveness tools and negotiates the sale of the Companys solutions.
:Builds long:term strategic relationships and partnerships with customers to grow business and gain market share.
:Supports with data to forecasting and budget process.
: Leads the tender process : setting up and follow:up on tender project plan, drive tender opportunities, get commitment and maximize tender outcome.
:Uses all available internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction.
:Ensures all administration is comprehensive and completed on time.
:Manages and monitors the entire tender process.
:Drives the end:to:end tender process from publication of a tender to sign:off.
:Seeks for continuous improvement and implements lessons learned from previous tenders.
:Acts as a driver and interacts closely with various departments such as Sales, Supply, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Commercial Operations and Customer Service.
:Builds a strong internal network of regular and ad:hoc contributors to tender submissions.
:Accountable for the availability, completeness and quality of all necessary information, documentation and knowledge in the organization for the efficient preparation of winning tender submissions.

Qualifications
Requirements:

:Bachelors Degree (Licenciatura)
in Business Management, Business Administration, Finance, Project Management or a related field.
:Three (3)
or more years of experience in a similar role in the Healthcare Industry.
:Proven sales
success of strategic sales.
:Proficiency in English and Spanish, in oral and written.
:Willing to travel up to 50 of the time.
:Experience working with databases:Oracle ideally or equivalent.
:Experience with
collecting competitive information, identify weakness and compare them to our
strong design/rationale and features/benefits.
:Experience
with project management.
:Experience in strategic account planning, budgeting and forecasting, analyzing market data
and trends.
:Enthusiastic
team player and good
