The Finance and Accounting Supervisor will be required to provide support to all teams in the whole Accounting Cycle and Financial matters. Support teams to maintain reconciliation, manage their budgets, proper filing for requests, and tracking of spending, making sure to meet compliance requirements.
This position provides financial, administrative and personnel administration in general, monitoring and administration of grants and administration of daily financial operations.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Needs a Strong knowledge of finance, with the ability to translate financial concepts and effectively collaborate with colleagues who do not necessarily have finance backgrounds
- Professional integrity, ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Provide oversight day-to-day financial management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, grants management, and the general ledger.
- Bookkeeping duties based revenues and expenses, including bank deposits
- Creating and maintaining organizational systems for financial backup documentation
- Taking the lead and acting as the primary point person for interim audit work
- Assisting with the financial audit and preparation
- Supporting and providing data for compliance reporting
- Managing the month-end reconciliation and close process
- Assisting in the management of annual budgets and related documents to forecast financial performance
- Coordinates Insurance yearly renewal cycle
- Review monthly Accounts Receivable for follow up
- Review Tax Payments and Reporting to Tax Authorities (DGI)
Essentials:
- University Degree in Accounting.
- + 5 years of experience in the Complete Accounting Cycle and Financial matters.
- Excellent oral and written Spanish and English language skills (written and oral)
- Knowledge of MS platform and Accounting Systems
- High level of proficiency in computer skills
