We are looking to hire a Tax and Audit Coordinator. In this position you will be responsible for tax compliance in Panama and support Central America and Caribbean countries in Fiscal and IFRS aspects.

Responsibilities

Panama (3 companies)

* Declaration of Income Tax

* Handling of IMBS / WHT / Impuesto Municipio / Aviso Operacional

* Handling of fiscal audits

* Elaboration of Financial Statements

* Maintain the Company fully compliant in terms of fiscal regulations

Central America and Caribbean (7 companies 5 countries)

* Handling of Transfer Pricing Study

* Coordination and support in Financial and Fiscal Audits

* Documentation Repository of fiscal processes

* Support Monthly Financial Closing processes

Potential Projects:

* Merge companies

* Implementation E:Billing

* Certification of Accounting Sistem

Qualifications

* University Degree (economics, finance, administration or accounting)

* Experience within BigFour auditors (KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, ErnestYoung)

* Deep understanding of IFRS

* Deep understanding of Tax code and processes in Panama

* Understanding of elaboration of Financial Statements

* Understanding of business principles and languages, including the fundamentals to Finance and profitability

* Overall understanding of Business Processes and Interdependencies

* Good Understanding of processes and SSC concepts

* Good knowdledge of Microsoft Office (very good Excel is a must)

* Knowledge of SAP

* Communication skills, comfortable dealing and talking to Senior Management
