Vestas Mediterranean (MED) is an independent business unit of Vestas Wind Systems, responsible for the markets of the Mediterranean and Latin America. It´s mission is to develop these markets in terms of sales, project execution, maintenance and customer service. The Service Department is responsible for the proper functioning of the wind farms of our customers, ensuring the highest levels of performance of each turbine for its entire useful life.
Spares and Tools Warehouse is a department under supply chain and repair organization, responsible to store and distribute spares and tools to maintain the wind turbines online ensuring high level of availability of energy generation and satisfaction of our Customers
Responsabilities
Identify and track certified and calibrated tools and PPE
Manage maintenance and repair of tools items
Plan correct stock level of tools in the warehouse, allocating costs of rental as well as replacement to costumer
Suggesting alternatives as appropriate, ensure orders are processed on time and solve reconciliation issues with supplier and project engineers, project managers and the Service Team. Create new tool maintenance profiles if needed
Link tools materials to the correct tool maintenance profile
Maintain table of SLOC which do not allocate PPE to Techs (SCP and travelling inspectors) and do not trigger the counter for calibrated tools
Qualifications
Engineering or Administration Degree
Great SAP skills
Advanced English is necessary
Experience with root cause corrective action analysis
PMP, PMO Certification will be a plus
