Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Provide Training and Logistics support on the specific TMS tool for our internal and external clients. Act as point of contact of Philips suppliers and factories and provide outstanding customer service while meeting all customer expectations.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Provide training and guidance to Philips suppliers on how to use our transportation system tools and logistics guidance.
Support and advises customers regarding training courses,schedules, trainingpaths, prerequisites and enrollments.
Create reports to keep an organized training process
Contribute, as part of working groups, to the implementation and onboarding to our transport management systems and the improvement of planning procedures and methods
Understand customer wide networks and transportation modes
Understand daily capacity needs/opportunities and pro-actively communicate to appropriate leadership
Manage the complete logistics process in terms of transportation planning & execution
Data accuracy maintenance, act as operations controller and monitoring of quality of shipments in Transport Management System
Overseeing booking/reservation of LSP capacity (provisionally or confirmed) based onforecast/pre-planningdata
In case of missed mile stones, tracking of the shipment and drive the corrective actions to ensure recovery of shipment and a timely delivery
Optimize operations across the regions securing capacity leverage with carriers/freight, forwarders including service provider lane allocation
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.

This role is part of the Global Business Service team in Panama city, Panama
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
+3 years of experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarder Logistics and/or Transportation roles
Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related.
?Advanced English
Transportation Management systems knowledge- Required
Customer Service Oriented,energetic, a self-started, proactive and resourceful
Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and a willingness to learn all computer software that is required to create training.
SAP knowledge is a plus.
Ability to work independently and proactively
