To be a successful Technical Assistant you will have the ability to contribute towards a team driven environment and have the drive to work well as an individual. You will support the movement of projects towards completion by performing integration testing, implementation, maintenance, and support. Works closely with multiple teams to understand business requirements and the design of quality technical solutions. Involved in the full systems life cycle and will participate in designing, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting technical solutions that are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Understand company needs to define system specifications.
Participate in planning and designing of the structure of technology solutions.
Evaluate and select appropriate software and/or hardware and suggest integration methods.
Assist with solving technical problems when they arise.
Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure.
Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions.
Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals.
Providing technical leadership and support to operational teams.
Crafting and executing queries upon request for data.

Requirements:
Experience in web programming.
In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
Knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. PHP, JavaScript, Web Services - REST/SOAP).
Hands-on experience with system administration.
Understanding of strategic IT solutions.
Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
Excellent communication skills.
Problem-solving aptitude.
Organizational and leadership skills.
