Job DescriptionWe invite you to join our team!The Business Practices and Privacy Steward plays a pivotal role in ensuring that operations are aligned with internal standards, industry best practices, and global regulatory requirements. This role is instrumental in safeguarding the company´s reputation by promoting ethical conduct and compliance through our operations.Key responsibilities:Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Compliance program and initiatives to ensure adherence to laws, regulations and industry standards.Develops/assists with coordination of regular (monthly) Country Compliance Committee meetings. Helps the business collect data and prepare documents needed, presents metrics, prepares agendas, and takes minutes and follows-up on meeting action steps and escalates potential risks to the Compliance Committee.Member in other local committees that actively identifies and provides input on compliance issues, assists owners on how to develop initiatives and review current requirements and may assist the business to ensure that implemented program adhere to the guidance.Works with cross-functional team to integrate compliance controls into business processes and systems.Manages the Standard Operating Procedures governance system established in the country, maintains index/register and numbering and oversees implementation by their owners: regular revisions, updates, communication, training, ownership changes and/or updates.Acts as the primary contact for internal stakeholders who may need to understand the local requirements regarding Health Care Providers interactions, and other professionals, Country requirements by ensuring country requirements for travel & hospitality are maintained and kept current.Develops Compliance Communications and cascading of messages and develop local plan through Managing Director and the leadership team (town halls, presentations, leadership meetings, among others).Facilitates, coordinates, and trains key stakeholders on compliance monitoring activities, presents metrics and monitoring reports; conducts self-assessments or participate in audits of third parties; works with other subject matter experts, to develop and deliver local training on policies, procedures, tools or other programs as needed; document, track and maintain training records; conduct on-boarding sessions for new employees or other key stakeholders.Conducts regular risk assessments and audits, identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop/implement corrective actions to maintain audit readiness as may act as a primary point of contact for Corporate Audit.Works with business process owners ensures the completion of audit remediation actions; tracks and ensures actions are completed on time and assists on data collection when appropriate.Oversees and/or support quarterly analytics reviews with stakeholders, ensures timely completion of action items; communicates/trains others on the platform; Reviews and follows up action items within the Compliance Committee as appropriate; Promotes program adoption by end users and facilitates the work of risk reviewers and risk owners.Monitors and trains stakeholders of the reporting process in the local market for transparency requirements, such as specific report.Serves as subject matter expert on compliance matters, providing guidance and advice to business colleagues for consult on issues such as antibribery and corruption, fair market value and healthcare professional interactions by administering required systems and tools.Assists with the local implementation and monitoring of the privacy program and how to instruct employees on required processes.Fosters a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, encourage integrity and fulfills social responsibility.QualificationsBachelor´s Degree in Business Administration o Commercial relations.Minimum of two (2 ) years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry.Experience managing compliance programs and policies, risk assessments, and compliance audits.English and Spanish proficiency, in oral and written.Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex compliance issues in a dynamic environment.Communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multinational organization, respecting cultural and linguistic differences.We are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing diverse, talented, and committed people together.
