Accounting Sr. Analyst Role Overview The Regional Services Accounting team based in Panama is looking for Accounting Sr. Analyst. Main responsibilities are focus on maintaining accuracy of the Financial Statements through Process Control Improvements, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Journal Entries. Will have the opportunity to work with different countries in North America and Latin America. This is a great opportunity to have an international exposure and to grow within the company or the entire Finance Organization.
Responsibilities:
Performs activities related to General Accounting functions: maintenance and accuracy for ledger accounts for functional area, in compliance with GAAP & Company policies.
Closing and reconciliation of general ledger and financial systems.
Reviews and verifies accuracy of journal entries, accounting records and reconciliations.
Reporting and analysis related to applicable balance sheet and income statements.
Function as accounting liaison and participate in accounting projects.
Requirements:
2+ years accounting experience with Multinational companies preferred.
Licenciate's degree Accounting or related finance careers.
Fluent English and Spanish.
Strong analytical abilities.
Self-starter.
Advanced EXCEL skills.
Detail oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Customer focused and results-oriented.
Some experience in local GAAP and USGAAP, business controls, project management and audit, specifically in the documentation and assessment of controls as required by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Is preferred.
Preferences:
ORACLE and HYPERION experience
Portuguese language.
