Bim Coordinator

Your challenge:

· Compiles BIM Best Practices

· Ensures projects document processes, procedures and workflows for lessons learned information

· Drives Standards, processes & procedures in coordination with BIM management

· Surveils project needs of integrating BIM and Information Technology

· Understands BIM Industry Coordination / Collaboration practices for CSA or MEP

· Understands the issues with Multiple Design Models Coordination

· Understands the BIM facility lifecycle

· Assists with leading BIM Coordination Meetings

Your profile:

· Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science or related field

· 5- 7 years of experience with BIM standards, procedures, libraries, for design applications

· Eagerness to support staff with positive attitude, passion and patience

· Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion

· A minimum of 5 years of professional BIM use involving:

*BIM 3D modeling according to modeling standards for CSA or MEP

· Design Review Coordination/Collaboration

· Working knowledge of design industry workflows, production cycle and priorities

· Experience with multiple BIM/CAD roles: training and support and project team member

· Exposure to Engineering Design Calculations or Analysis software

· Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, to complete design assignments

· Excellent written communication skills

· Attention to detail

· High mobility and/or readiness to travel abroad (including longer international assignments)
