Position Overview
This position will work under the direction of the Brand Manager MAC Latin America Distributor Markets, to track, drive and optimize brand performance, initiatives and execution including the preparation and follow-up of brand strategy within the Latin America Distributor Markets (LDM).
Accountabilities
Coordinates guidance to distributors; branded staff to ensure that Corporate Brand strategies and priorities are correctly and accurately implemented and that the distributors net sales goals for Brand are met.
Support the Corporate Brand strategy by working with the distributors to achieve the Corporate Brand’s net sales and net operating profits
Analyze sales activities by the distributors and retailers
Centralize and analyze relevant market information such as sell thru by door, net sales, MOB, etc.
Oversees, analyzes and communicates key brand performance indicators in each market within the LDMs
Control and monitor distributor inventories by assisting distributor to maximize its net sales and retail sales. Negotiate yearly purchase plan.
Proactively ensure strong collaboration and communication with retail operations, marketing, demand planning and finance.
Partner with Brand Manager to systematically assess distribution potential; both channel and geography with view to understanding remaining opportunities and scale.
In consultation with distributors, develop annual purchase plans for each LDM door by market by category in units; assist the distributor to develop an appropriate annual overall business plan.
Receive and analyze monthly orders from distributors and send them to Lachen for processing.
Negotiates and coordinates special additions by retailers’ hand in hand with the distributor.
Ensures sell in of new products on a timely basis.
Prepare and review monthly gross sell estimate and present to brand manager.
Develop and submit sales estimates on a timely basis such as, monthly and yearly estimates, quarterly estimates by store, provide with highlights on net sales by door vs. plan/last year.
Actively participate in the budget process.
Develop and submit inventory estimates on a timely base by SKU to better meet demand and inventory management.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Master’s degree, preferably in Business Management, Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 5 years working experience.
Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the FMCG/luxury or cosmetic industry or with regional exposure.
Self-starter and entrepreneurial.
Very strong communication and analytical skills.
Proven track record of good leadership and management skills.
