Overview:
The Electrical Isolation Operator of a Project is supporting the Temporary Operation team by changing the configuration on site to allow people working on the project doing his task (installation or test) in a safe environment, avoiding electrical shock or collision hazard.
Specific responsibilities of the role:
:Perform electrical isolation with blocking following a day to day planning,
:Participate to the elaboration of the electrical isolation planning following Work Permit authorized,
:Inform the Temporary Operation Manager about electrical configuration on site (as responsible for electrical isolation you will authorize through the Temporary Operation Manager works on electrical component)
:Inform the Temporary Operation Manager about potential risk detected on site (barrier not in its position, door open, unauthorized excavation on going...)
:Perform regular inspection to verify the respect of Work Permit process.
Desired Skills and Experience:
:Competencies :
:Good knowledge on manipulation of electrical substations,
:Electrical manipulation (High Voltage)
:Apply ALSTOM Discipline and Processes
:Act as a Team Player
:Able to perform Shift duties
:Able to perform Overtime work
:Previous experience :
:At least 3 years of experience in electrical, computing or mechanical area
:The role requires knowledge and experience of engineering and operational aspects of railways coupled with well:developed assessment and analysis skill
:Technical Skills
:Knowledge of the rail environment and engineering practices
:Good co:ordination and communication
:High voltage experience
:Technical English.
:Education University Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
:Language skills English: fluent + Spanish Local language
