We are a rapidly growing service industry software company looking for a dedicated Financial Planning and Analysis (Corporate FP&A).
You will oversee a broad array of financial affairs, including income, expenses, taxes, capital expenditures, investments, and financial statements. Unlike accountants who are in charge of recordkeeping, financial analysts are charged with examining, analyzing, and evaluating the entirety of a corporation’s financial activities, and mapping out the company’s financial future.
Responsibilities:
Evaluating whether the company’s current assets and investments are the best use of the company’s excess working capital, by looking at return on investment (ROI) and comparisons with other ways the company might utilize its cash flow (e.g., other possible investments, increased stock dividends, etc.)
Gauging the company’s overall financial health, primarily by using key financial ratios such as the debt to equity ratio, current ratio, and interest coverage ratio
Determining which of the company’s products or product lines generate the largest portion of its net profit
Examining and evaluating the cost-efficiency of each department of the company, in light of what percentage of the company’s financial resources each department consumes
Working with individual departments to prepare budgets and consolidate them into one overall corporate budget
Preparing internal reports for executive leadership and supporting their decision making
Creating, updating, and maintaining financial models and detailed forecasts of the company’s future operations
Comparing historical results against budgets and forecasts, and performing variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward.
The minimum requirements are:
The ideal person will have IT software experience
Be a natural problem solver
Must be self-motivated and able to work on his/her own
Able to multitask and work under pressure
Must be able to work East Coast Standard Time office hours
Must be able to work from home and have a home office or a quiet place to work
GAP understanding
Forecasting
Budgeting
Working with department heads to hit budget goals
Helping define key metrics like cost to earn sale and so on.
MUST speak native English, Speaking, and Writing (An additional language will be to your advantage but not required) if you do not fill this requirement please do not apply.
This offer is for home base and you will be required to have the following:
