Through all the strategic business units, FAR Group delivers defense solutions and provides professional services, construction & infrastructure, and security & military products & services. • Job Title: Translator (English - Spanish) • Location: SFAB Mission - Pan City, PANAMA • Type: Full Time • Schedule: As scheduled by the Program Manager Job Overview: FAR Group is currently looking for someone who can provide Translation Services from English to Spanish and Spanish to English for United States Army South (ARSOUTH) at the SFAB Mission in, Pan City, Panama. Responsibilities and Duties: • Translator shall provide English to Spanish translations of written or digital documents, utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other appropriate word processing tools via email or CD. • Translations will primarily be PowerPoint briefings ranging from 15 - 20 pages and will include graphics. Word documents are typically 10-40 pages in size. • Proof-read, edit, and provide the final product layout and output, in the required media format (i.e., hardcopy or electronic). Qualifications: • Previous experience working with US Army South, US Southern Command or another US military agency and possessing thorough knowledge of military terminology is preferred but not required. • The service provider shall be technically qualified and experienced native speaking language specialists, with at least 3 years of experience.
