Job Title Warehousing and Distribution Specialist Job Description In this role, you have the opportunity to
Assist in the operational physical distribution activities for our distribution centers in North America.
You are responsible for
Follow up on the distribution infrastructure plan established.
Supporting in the implementations of concepts and tools of QIS (meeting customer requirements, cost of ownership, cost of quality, defect prevention, responsibility for own work and zero defects).
Supporting daily inbound activities of the Distribution Center (DC) including priority setting and executing corrective processes for exceptions
Executing daily checks of interfaces between SAP/Infodis/LSP systems.
Ensuring stock in SAP is in line with the stock in WMS.
Supporting the resolution of exception flows: claims management (inbound/outbound), reverse logistics.
Assisting the Warehousing manager in escalations, communication with stakeholders and daily activities.
Project management of improvement projects/process harmonization.
You are a part of
The Global Business Support (GBS) Team reporting into the Warehousing and Distribution Manager.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor degree in relevant field.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse management, transport management, customer service management role or similar.
Knowledge of warehousing and distribution KPIs.
Problem solving and decision making skills.
Excellent communication skills.
SAP knowledge is required.
Continuous improvement experience is required.
LEAN knowledge is a plus.
Advanced English is required.
