We are currently seeking a Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Panama City, Panamá (PA:8), Panama (PA).

Accounting Supervisor ( Level 8)

Job Requirements:

:
Performs GL month:end close tasks, journal entries, margin and expense analysis of assigned service centers
:
Prepares monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, and clears reconciling items in a timely manner
:
Ensures that appropriate controls and compliance processes are followed
:
Makes recommendations for process improvements and automation opportunities
:
Assists in the timely preparation of schedules and other information required by external auditors
:
Contributes to any special projects and performs additional duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience:

:
Education : Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance is required
:
CPA is a plus but not required
:
Accounting Experience : Minimum of 5 years is required in GL accounting preferably in service industry, some public accounting is a plus
:
General knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), balance sheet and income statement methods, internal controls, and other areas related to financial reporting requirements
:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience in SAP or other large ERP systems is a plus
