Job Title: RS Electromecanic Operator
Job Location: Ciudad de Panamá, Panamá
Introduction:
The Metro de Panama's Linea 1 works in the Panama's City Metropolitan area from Albrook (based on the south) to San Isidro (located in the noth). The line is 15.7 Kms long, it has 14 train stations and a 20 trains fleet, each train is integrated by 3 cars. Today, demand has surpass forcast, in top of that, there is a new forecast related to the new Line 2 that will be put in service by 2019, which makes evident the need to increase the transport capacity for Line 1.
Our client has bought 70 cars to modify current 20 trains fleet from its current configuration of 3 car:train into 5 cars train, plus 6 totally new trains of 5 cars, in this way the Line 1 will be integrated by a fleet of 26 trains of 5 cars each one, this will be join by the physical change of the Depot that will increase the parking size plus will allowed to operate with 5 cars trains by adjusting the ATS system from the CCO.
Overview:
He/She will report to the Retrofit and Warranty Manager and he/she will be responsible for the Corrective Maintenance Activities to be performed on the fleet to ensure quality and service requirements.
Specific responsibilities of the role:
:Comply Safety norms
:Accountable for Quality indicators and requirments.
:Perform Corrective Maintenance operations to fleet trains.
:Breakdowns Root cause analysis and fixing, and fault analysis writing report, if applicable.
:Follow up to repetitive RollingStock problems, propose fault finding strategy to find root cause and apply definitive solution.
:Maintenance Software Records Analysis, to optimize Rollinstock maintenence.
:Report day to day operation issues.
:Report maintenance operations performed on Site on Line, to update maintenance status database.
:Propose improvements to Maintenance Plan.
:Propose improvements to procedures/materials/tolos to optimize service.
:Propose training needs to allow personal development on this position and improve job performance.

:Technical Skills
:He/She must have 2 years mínimum on corrective maintenance in equipment relates to air conditioning. Breakdown fixing, fault finding, leaks repar, load and unload gas, to be able to mange machines to recover/fix air conditioning gas (R:407C or similar), mount and dismount equipment, pipes welding and pipes fixing.
:He/She can manage low/médium/high voltaje electronic and electric tools
:He/She can manage mechanic tools.
:He/She can manage laptop and infomatic tools in an industrial environment.
:Education
:He/she must have a Bachelor degree in electrical o mechanical Engineer or similar.
