Job Purpose/Overview
Mars Global Services Commercial Strategic Operations Manager is responsible for the strategy creation and execution for the businesses as appropriate in regards to the MWC and Pet care segments in the Caribbean and Central America in order to deliver long term competitive advantage by maximizing value for money and protecting the business. This position reports directly to the Regional Commercial Head in Latin America and is a member of the Latin America Management Team.
Additionally this person will be responsible to connect and align with the global sourcing category directors for Logistics, Professional Services and Marketing and Sales in order to implement locally and regionally the sourcing strategy for Latin America in regards to the global contracts.
This position thru his team will be responsible for optimizing investments in terms of cost, quality, risk and availability as well as implement and follow up procure to pay processes and controls. His/Her team will be responsible for ensuring supplier performance and act as the first point of contact for suppliers and internal clients.
This position will be managing a team of direct and indirect reports that will be responsible for specific sub:categories in Logistics, Professional Services and Marketing and Sales as well as Procure to Pay Processes.
