Radisys is searching for a Head of Global Business Development and Channels for our Broadband Access Business Unit. This person must have a track-record of success in managing and delivering engagements & deals across a diverse customer base. The candidate must be a self-starter, flexible problem solver, dynamic leader, and outstanding communicator who is comfortable working across multiple functions and geographies within Radisys’ globally dispersed organization. Ideal candidates will be located in the United States near a major airport. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is required. Advanced degree a plus Minimum of 10+ years Business Development and/or Sales in the telecom, networking, and IT industries Proven background in developing relationships with key decision makers and influencers including experience in closing large technology or service deals Significant market contacts, technical knowledge and experience selling to carriers globally Track record of having worked with channels Knowledge and deep experience with Fixed line broadband domain (FTTx, PON, OLT, ONT, BNG, L2, L3, OSS/BSS etc) Knowledge andExperience with cloud native, virtualization and convergence of access technologies Knowledge and experience around Mobile broadband (4G/5G/IoT/virtual and centralized RAN/SmallCells) a plus System Integration experience is a big plus – working with 3rd parties and taking ownership of the product lifecycle regardless of Radisys/vendor provided solutions. Strong customer facing skills and the ability to travel up to 60% with some trips on short notice due to business needs. Proven ability to read situations, think strategically, formulate comprehensive account plans and drive relationships vertically and horizontally. Ability to provide and work from a home office located in the region. Travel: Ability to travel up to 60% to support globally based customers EEO / AAP.
